Lamar jackson is the quarterback who got away, not jimmy garopolo. I think they were trying to max out tom brady's window here in new england. They draftd em a running back, because they needed a running back that year. Legara blunt was gone. But he's developed into a tremendously effective passer during stretches of his career. If you had taken lamar jackson early on it would have been a peble. No one really thought twice about getting runing back. You don't take running back tbats or whatever, it just doesn't work. There are so many ramifications around him being drafted right now. Can he throw?
