Medicare Part B will cover a palliative care consultation, just like any other specialist. Hospice is completely covered by Medicare, like patients do not pay anything. So it all comes down to what the terminal diagnosis is. And I've had people sent home from their oncologist and they said, you're on hospice now when I sent them right back.
