The cycle is pushed forward by climate extremes, or will it get worse with climate change? Think it really depends on the eca system. The scientist florida have done research into the way that drought can make trees more vulnerable to fire. That's associated with an invasive grass called cocoan grass. And in their experiments, they had more trees die as a result of it in drought conditions. So if you give climate change in a ar place is associated with drought, it can make it more vulnerable to damage from fires connected to e base of grasses.
