Is There a Benefit of Traditional Islamic Metaphysics?

I find myself thinking about this a lot, which is that it, i know, there's this beautiful tradition. If you can see people thinking through these questions in a very sophisticated and nuanced way, that can really change the way that you think about the world. It seems extremely challenging to be able to move. I don't know what to recommend to everyone. In my own case, i found that it's never helpful to invoke the tradition simply as authority. That that what one has to do is constantly and using, if n tools of philology and other things, history, to reconstruct the rationality in light of current questions.
