Disney has worked really hard with IP law here in the United States to protect those characters. If you're scraping, let's just use Disney's art or data as an example. The best practice always in law, because I'm a content producer for many years as a journalist, is when in doubt get permission. Now there is a concept of fair use that is subject to the interpretation of the courts.
