The Extent of Love Is Always Sacrifice and Commitment
Anthropologist margaret mead said that the first sign in any civilization of a rill of people existing there was a thigh bone, o femur, that had been broken and then healed. We are at our best when we sacrificially love others. Love consists in this, not that we loved god, but that he loved us and sent his son to be an atoning for our sins. If god loved us in this way, we also must love one another.
