You might think we'd get data about this from people who had a whole experience of things they thought they wanted and then later on figured out whether they did want it or not. But most people don't actually think that that's going to be very reliable data. I feel like, like Aristotle says, well, young people are characteristically sort of rash and imprudent. And old people are characteristic cowardly and prudent. It's just about the time of their life right?
