The SEC's Struggle to Protect the Crypto Industry

The SEC has been pushing the crypto industry hard over the past four months. In a lawsuit filed on March 9 against KuCoin, New York Attorney General Leticia James alleged that Ether should be treated as a security. But the commodities in future trading commission or CFTC contends that Ether is a commodity and should therefore come under its purview.
