How Do Finger Training Protocols Affect Climbing?

If we look at like my finger pole numbers, if I'm pulling on an edge on a 20 millimeter edge with my whole upper extremity, my numbers are like 185 pounds per hand. So the difference there is muscle activation versus passive tension. But when I'm using the fingerboard and I'm hanging, it's that load plus a bunch of extra load, which is passive tension. As soon as I remove that extra load, the adaptation goes away.
