According to US affidavits the US is also believes that those yachts are linked to Putin. Seven of these super yachts aren't just big they are unbelievably expensive. It takes at minimum four years before you put in a design plan and hire an architect. The medium US income right now is about 40,000 dollars which means if you're making that much money a year it would take about 13 thousand six hundred thirty six years to earn enough to buy a super yacht worth six hundred million dollars.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine in February, the US and other Western nations have imposed economic sanctions on scores of Russian billionaires close to President Vladimir Putin. They’ve also gone after their assets–including the enormous yachts prized by billionaires the world over.
