Fizzy: A Novel About a Chinese American Woman

I love that romance is out there saying, no, these joyful stories belong to all of us, right? These are not just like white cishet stories. And so Fizzy is Asian American in this story. We would never ever want to take a book off the shelf, take the space of a shell on the shelf that could be filled by a Chinese American writer writing this story. Just because we had created Fizzy didn't necessarily mean that it was our story to tell.
