The Tongbong Hui was founded by Sun Yat-en and it knit together a bunch of revolutionary organizations to create more unity in the revolutionary movement. The researchers collected data on hundreds of these different anti-missionary incidents. They also looked at correlations between, you know, was there an anti-Missionary incident? Were there missionaries in a particular location and did that location then later spawned founding members of the TongbongHui?
