What Are Quasi Crystals?

Quasi crystals are mysterious. They were not something that people learned about in traditional solid state physics. And sharon herself was not particularly familiar with them when she happened to create one accidentally. She recognized that there was some kind of order there, wheels within wheels, but she didn't know what she was seeing. It was only after she started earning the terminology and the concepts of quasi crystals that she realized she had accidentally created one in the computer.
