C S Lewis and the Calumines

I would make the point that lewis is a lot older than philip pullman, and reflects certain stereotypes of his age. And i suspect he may simply have lost interest in her. But certainly philip hullman is right to point out these concerns. So again, there are important points to appreciate here, but you have to read this in terms of their historical context. That is very important. We don't deny the historical context. We have to learn to live with it.
