The Foundations of Physics
i come from a physics department in oxford. Although i spent most of my time in working climate change, i could have bita interest in these sort of questions about the foundations of physics. The amostof physics is based on what methodological reductionism, which basically means, the smaller the better. And i personally think that physics, fundamental physics, is in a mess because of this very philosophy. If we actually embraced the kind of spenecean philosophy the fundamental laws of physics may actually be framed at the very largest levels and can help us make progress with them.
