Emma Swellver wrote a paper about how to promote belonging among people from marginalized backgrounds. The idea is that there are multiple ways am that one can feel a sense of belonging tied to the very identities that can be marginalized. And so it is important, if we're thinking about intervention efforts to tackle prejudice tied to social identityis right to think about might we help people not be seen through the lands a bias of stereotypes?
