Tommy Edmond is a controllable piece under club control through the 2025 season. Justin Turner can hit righties, but he's playing second base just because Chris Shideroyo could not play left handed pitching. If you made a deal for Edmond, you'd have him this year as you chased on a wildcard spot and then you would have him next year in the year after that as well. And if we don't want to move on from Nick York, Edmond will still have value down the road.
