The Pacing Tracker Creates a Fresh Start Opportunity
A pacing tracker is an instantaneous snapshot of progress within a short span of time. A student could be way ahead in one chunk of skills, but not really taking care of business in a previous unor or previous set of skales. And so what it shows is something different than how they performed on the assessment or on the task. The grade that i give at the end of the unit is a summitive grade,. Like i, like i gave in traditional teaching, my students make a song, and I grade the song.
