What Are the Reservoirs of Water on Earth?
Oceans contain nearly all of earth's water. Other major reservoirs include ice sheets, or sas we talked about those. Ground water comprises one or two % of all the water on earth. Water vapour in the atmosphere condenses and falls on the surface of the earth. About 80% of global precipitation is over the ocean. But some proportion of the precipitation - i guess about 20 percent - falls over land.
