Children of poor us. Born parents do move to those cities where there's a lot of jobs and where there's of economic mobility, that their upward trajectory is very similar to that of immigrants whose children moved to those cities as well. So it ends up being that you have this kind of almost a natural experiment where you can see both of those things. But i wouldn't want to make any policy prescriptions on the basis of this finding, because many people born in the us. Who choose to live close to home are doing so cause there's more to life than just earning a living for yourself or placing your kids in a location where they could earn more in the next generation.
