Katara's Spending a Billion Dollars to Host the World Cup

The katara government is spending a huge amount obviously fiefer are making an enormous profit uh the broadcast rights are sold around the world so katara is spending two hundred billion pounds to host this world cup. They've built their nine stadiums that can be taken down after the world Cup and they're going to be given to various African nations who was part of their original bid back in 2010. It's also got to pay money to somebody to be its ambassador  david beckham he's been paid 150 million pounds um to be the ambassador or he says it's a great opportunity for progress and inclusivity and tolerance hang out with us on our next show, The World
