The Problems With the Gateway API
With any API, especially in the currency community, it becomes a de facto GA. Once that starts to happen and mass, there's no going back. And if you look at all the managed Kubernetes offerings, they all support ingress beta one. So getting it across the finish line was an important milestone. It did fix some things that were not right in the original API spec.
