hyper mobile dancers tend to have a lot of difficulty controlling their body, that they can't quite tell their what to do and have it respond as quickly. With them, if i was going to see, say, ham string strain, i would see that ham string strain more frequently at the origin of the ham string,. right where it attaches to the sits bones. So in the non hyper mobile population, i would say maybe 80 % of non hyper mobile dancers come to me and say, i need to work my flexibility. I need to work on getting more more flexible, more stretchy, more bendy. And they are often frustrated with it, because they feel like they've been working
