Space Habitats - A Spaceship or a House?

The O'Neill Sonder or Space Habitat is designed to look and feel as Earth-like as you can make it. You can, for instance, do sky cities on rotating habitats relatively easily. Most houses would probably have an automated lockdown and airtight capacity so they could act as a life pod if someone nukes a giant hole into the side of the habitat. I tend to assume houses will only get bigger and more luxurious as technology improves.
