Kant was kind of a full on Platonist in this sense, that he felt like the best kind of music is purely instrumental because it is about contemplating the form. So I'm not sure how much I can impose that on Shiller. It's so abstract by the end of this,. Like, he's not going to be the full-on Platonist. That would be too rationalist. He wants to cut down the middle between the Platonist and everybody. Oh, just forget about the world.
