Coffee began its journey into europe and north america in the 17 hundreds. The french and American revolutions were planned in part in coffee houses. Both the london stock exchange and the new york stock exchange began in co houses. In 18 70, a parisian tensmith invented the bigan coffee pot which used a cloth barrier to filter coffee grounds. A german woman by the name of malida bens was getting very frus ala with bear tasting coffee.
