The Reformation of the Church in the Second Vatican Council
Monsignor John Strinkowski is retired from the Catholic Church. He was a member of the Second Vatican Council, which took place in 1960s and 1970s. The council helped open up the church to more people around the world, he says. There were no women involved in the formal discussions at Vatican II; they did exercise influence on an informal level.
