Are Your Fundraising Metrics Going to Matter?
The public markets have come down so much so rapidly, the multiples that were the comps for this company had just collapsed. Companies actually beat their plan during those eight weeks in between signing the term sheet and closing the deal. The one thing I will say is no doubt we were in a different market environment today than we were six months ago. Now, it's going to be a much longer, much harder, much more arduous fundraising process.
