Investing in a Startup or Seed Stage Company

VGRO and Captain Fresh five years back would have been very difficult to build. Most of the companies we've invested are founders with 10,000 hours in the space that nobody else had. So when we invest in a company the simple rule of thumb that I see is if I leave my job today and go try to build it tomorrow will I be able to build it? If the answer is yes then there's no reason to invest.
