What Is the Difference Between PSP and APG?
PSP works for the Canadian government exclusively. To me, there is a clear resemblance with the job I had at the APG,. So there is a familiarity here that I see between APG and PSP. The other interesting thing about it is that we only manage the pension liabilities post 2000. All the pre 2000 liabilities are paid in a pay as you go system. But if we only cover the post 2000 liabilities, it really means that our investment horizon is truly long term. And that actually helps us in our specific investment strategies.
