The Importance of Diversification

There'll be different times in your life when you'll specialize. What I don't get quite as much is the other type of diversification, which is to take on different kinds of gigs. Focus is what tends to deliver great rewards. Often with spouses, they tend to react negatively if you think about diversifying that part of your life.
