The Impact of the Internet on the World

The Google X project that got you to move halfway across the world from London to Silicon Valley was Project Loon. The idea was that you would connect the whole world with a network of stratospheric balloons. Two-thirds of the world, and by that I mean people had no access to the internet yet. In almost every country the phone company is an incumbent that's very close to the government.
