How Do Ants Diagnose and Treat Infections in Other Animals?

When an ant has a wound that is infected, they produce different puticular hydrocarbons. These are chemicals that are found in their outer shells and used to communicate with other ants. So it seems like they're able to sig their infection status to the nurse ants through these cuticular hydrocarbon, and that lets them know when they need to administer this anti microbial medicine. We do know that there are some animals that can self medicate, like apparently cimpansees che medicinal plants to get rid of parasites. But actually treating others seems to be much rarer.
