Are You Going Through a Crisis of Faith?
The most common LDS response to an active member posing difficult questions is to be defensive and to dismiss their suffering and pain. Some of what the people that were interviewed said was saying to them in response to their own vulnerable sharing of what they were going through are some of these statements. What covenants are you breaking? You must want to sin. These are all the reasons that are given to us when we go through, when we expose our very real and raw experience of crisis.
