Don't Scale as a Person

The shortest answer I can give is ego. You know, it happens to a lot of engineers when they get promoted up right you're one of the better developers on your team so you become the manager of the development team. In doing so I always felt like my way was better. So I needed to double check the other people's work to make sure that was done my way. And then I got surprised and shocked. Well, one of my junior developers on my team did something in a way that I never would have thought of doing it and it worked so much better. It's good enough for a reason because it's good enough. We don't need those five nines for everything
