Protagoras's Relativism

Protagoras was a teacher of virtue who taught people how to be more virtuous than they are by nature. Protagoras said that each man judges what is true for him, but no one is in tion to judge what istrue for any one else. For protagoras, the point was to educate people so as to make their lives seem better. He was willing to bet his fee that you wouldn't get at both sides of an argument.
