Stowe: I often think of Kant's example. He had a set of basically viewed ethics as a set of rules you couldn't break. And it's always kind of this kind of admiration of someone sticking to their guns in that example. But the stoic is certainly closer towards the Kantian than the regular person who can find themselves kind of bending very flexible for their personal preferences.
