The Ukraine's Military Can't Just Move Into Crimea
In 2014, when Moscow illegally annexed Crimea, Kiev responded by essentially erecting a dam to block the North Crimean canal and that supplies Crimea with about 18% of its water. And one of the big things and Russia was very quick to do this, it was about two or three days into the invasion,. It destroyed that dam and allowed basically water to float back into Crimea and to guarantee a supply of fresh water. So now with Ukraine becoming further in control of this supply of freshWater again, they could rebuild the dam, re-block water. Essentially what this does is it eats away at this kind of aura that Putin has built up around Crimea being this fortified stronghold.
