The Importance of Balance in Parenthood
The biggest attachment period for a child is from six to 12 months. I think before three, the best caregiver for a children is the mom and the dad. A grandmother would be a close second or aunt who's very much involved in family but someone where there's going to be ongoing attachment to daycare worker really doesn't help that child's adjustment with the family.
