The Power of Applause

I didn't realize how much I allowed the applause to direct the flow of the night. You do actually hear the crickets when you're in a field of a thousand cars. It's all kinds of awkward. Music is not in the background. It is 100% of foreground experience. And I hear it on this record as well, you know, a song like New.
