Data Ephemera Is a Problem That We Cannot See

Cori Archangel is a kind of internet shit poster or maybe a shit artist if we spell it as one word. He tries to visualize data that would not have otherwise been subject to any form of human sensing so he has this work from 2003 where he essentially collects crush memory dumps from computers and turns them into film. It's interesting because unlike in the case of climate change which tries to take an invisible process and turn it into aesthetic data what Archangel does here is the opposite he takes something that we cannot see and turns it into something we can see but we cannot understand.
