Do Antidepressants Really Work?
This refutes the idea that depression is due to a chemical imbalance in serotonin. That was one of the big ideas about why some people end up with depression. If your antidepressants are working for you, then in consultation with your doctor, keep taking them. The treatments we take aren't necessarily targeted at one specific pathway but might still be helpful.
