Kabala started as a response to the crisis of jews not being accep in spain and portugal. It grew even more because of the expulsion from spain and than the other tragedies we talked about ye ye. If you look at things through this very spiritual and mystical lens, it becomes possible to say, well, maybe these losses, in these sufferings, are leading towards some sort of greater growth. And that's how we can still look forward to this future redemption.
