Is There a Sweet Spot for Meaning Making?

I like this notion of spontaneity and interactivity gradient. I think that could be a really useful conceptual tool in organizing a lot of this stuff. Something else that pops out for me around the question of meaning making is there's a kind of a sweet spot for people in terms of how many options give them a sense of meaning and control. If they don't feel like they have any optionality, they feel trapped or meaningless.
