Moving Off a Public Cloud?

It's all about the economics at some point. And it also seems like maybe it's for certain types of business as where moving off a public cloud make sense. If i could go back in time 20 years and say, hey, we're about to do this v three sition at eba, i would have had us move directly to what we would now call micro services. There's a famous amazon memo around that same time.
