How to Edit for Audiobooks
A number of authors have mentioned that they're thinking a lot more about audiobooks and how their books are going to sound when they're read aloud. Do the narrators do different types of voices for different characters? Do they actually say that he said she said? I don't know if that's something that they maybe have permission to maybe edit that out a little bit sometimes or if it's a separate edit that's done that I do not know but it's definitelySomething that I want to maybe start keeping in mind and maybe ask some of my clients what do they do with that? That's a very good thing to bring up. Too many dialogue tags can be distracting even in print
