Building the Sagrata Familia
Markbury was one of the first architects to use computers to design this way. Parametric design allows you to plug in different variables and see what the end result is each time you change something. Without this technology, it's possible there would still be no inside to see. Now people line up around the block to get a glimpse inside. And it really is breathtaking, partly because of these credibly tall columns that gaudy designd that branch out like trees at the top.
