Is There a Zero Sum Bias in Wrongful Conviction Cases?

i wanted to point out that just because meredith was the original victim in this case, doesn't mean that there couldn't be other people who are victimized from this story. There seems to be this sort of zero sum bias where it's like, if there is, if there's victimization on my part that that somehow takes from the victimization on meredith's part. And i push against that constantly and felt like i had to define a whole new bias about it. Being innocent can put you at increased risk of not being seen as innocent.
