How to Recognize Emotional Roadblocks in People

A lot of artists when I first meet them, they're locked up and my stuff doesn't look like the good stuff I see. They've got it backwards. You have to get in touch with why you want to do this in the beginning, not compare it to somebody else. And then there are other people that are actually really talented and they draw on a regular basis, but they are kind of a similar boat where there's no joy anymore because they want to make a living with it.
