You discuss the many factors that prejudice moternal affects research to day. Could you talk a little bit about these viseson and why they are so often overlooked, and what implications does this have for largeal conversations about the limitations of statistics and big data methods in bi medical sciences? Sure. Well, to start with the latter part of the question, as i mentioned before, the knowledge landscape is one that i characterize as cryptic,. or as cataloguing claims that are causally cryptic. This crypticity is part of the landscape of claims making in the biomedical sciences and information sciences more generally. So i think that some of the claims i have to make in the book about the nature of scientific discovery
